GARY BRANDT....is a popular folklorist, singer and songwriter from his beloved state of Michigan.
A retired educator and coach, Gary has shifted to full time performing.
He has composed songs and performances for such venues as TV 2 Detroit, National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Crysler Omni Arts and his multi-media program "Land To The West"; which has over 300 performances across the country.
Gary's song "Somewhere In Montana" has been featured in western poetry publications.
2013 has two new songs that have been written with his good friends...Art Podell, from the New Christy Minstrels....and John Davidson, entertainer and T.V. personality.
Also for 2013, Gary has created a new program....Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Concert.
Gary carries on the tradition of folk music with a 12 string guitar, a good song, a humorous story and a voice that reflects the rich tradition.... of American Folk Music.
